Spend a few hours on Mürren’s snowy trails
Meet your guide in Mürren for an outing on snowshoes, with the equipment included. Over about three hours, explore the woodland and open slopes around the village on a route chosen for the conditions and your group.
There’s time to pause, take photographs and ask about the mountains around you. On clear days, look out for the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau across the valley; in cloud or falling snow, the forest becomes a bigger part of the experience.
New to snowshoeing? Your guide will help you get started. You’ll need normal walking fitness and to feel comfortable on uneven snow.

Choosing the day’s route
We explore above Mürren, using woodland paths and open stretches where conditions allow. There is no fixed circuit promised with your booking: your guide chooses the route to suit the snow, weather and group.
When a winter walk is the better option
Snowshoes need suitable snow cover. If that is missing, but walking conditions are safe, your outing becomes a guided winter hike on prepared trails around Mürren at the same price. If neither activity can run safely, we’ll offer another date or a full refund. Mountain views depend on visibility.

Choose any available date during December–March and book online. Laura will contact you afterwards with your meeting time, travel advice and what to bring. All guests must be aged 12 or above.
Private outings: pay online to complete your booking. Small-group outings: reserve 1–3 places free on an open date. At four reserved guests, payment is requested; four paid guests guarantee the departure. Joining a guaranteed departure requires immediate payment. Within 7 days, only guaranteed dates can be joined; new dates must be at least 8 days ahead.
If there isn’t enough snow, we’ll take a guided winter walk at the same price. If conditions are unsafe for either activity, we’ll offer another date or a full refund.
