Most guides will show you the valley from the bottom. I'll show you the valley from where I actually live. Mürren sits at 1,650m — car-free, crowd-light, with the Eiger filling your entire field of vision. I've woken up to that view for 10 years and it still takes my breath away. We start in Lauterbrunnen and you choose your route up — ride the e-bikes all the way to Mürren for more of a challenge, or take the cable car to Grütschalp for an easier start. Either way, you'll ride through wildflower meadows with the most famous mountains in the Alps as your backdrop. You'll stop at my favourite café, explore a car-free Swiss village, and descend through working farms with cowbells ringing around you.

The best way to see the Lauterbrunnen Valley. On this relaxed e-bike ride, we travel through the valley to see its famous waterfalls — including Staubbach and Mürrenbach. We also usually visit the remarkable Trümmelbach Falls, where ten glacial waterfalls thunder through the inside of a mountain. Admission to Trümmelbach Falls is included when the falls are open. We ride far into the back of the Lauterbrunnen Valley to Berggasthaus Trachsellauenen, a beautiful mountain restaurant tucked away in one of the valley's quietest corners. It is far beyond where most day visitors go and is difficult to reach without a longer walk or a bike. If you would like, we can stop here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and buy local cheese, drinks or a snack. Food and drinks at the restaurant are not included in the tour price. The route has gentle inclines and is suitable for beginners. Before we set off, we'll talk about your experience and comfort level so the pace feels right for you. We meet at Lauterbrunnen train station, where your e-bike and helmet will be ready. Getting here by train is easy: Lauterbrunnen is around 20 minutes from Interlaken Ost, or approximately 40–45 minutes from Grindelwald with a simple change at Zweilütschinen. The tour finishes back at Lauterbrunnen station, and full meeting details are sent to you after booking.

Isenfluh and Sulwald don't appear in the Lonely Planet. They barely appear on Google. They're the villages the locals keep to themselves.
