Schilthorn Summit Hike
About This Experience
The ultimate challenge for hikers who want to push themselves while experiencing the raw beauty of the Swiss Alps. This demanding full-day ascent takes you from Mürren (1,650m) through the wild Engetal valley to the summit of the Schilthorn (2,970m) — a 1,320m elevation gain that rewards every step. The route climbs steeply through alpine meadows and rocky terrain, with a well-earned stop at the Schilthornhütte for food and drinks before the final push to the top. At the summit, you'll be greeted by 360-degree panoramic views from the famous Piz Gloria revolving restaurant — the James Bond filming location.
