Valley of Waterfalls: Private E-Bike Tour
About This Experience
The best way to see the Lauterbrunnen Valley. On this relaxed e-bike ride, we travel through the valley to see its famous waterfalls — including Staubbach and Mürrenbach. We also usually visit the remarkable Trümmelbach Falls, where ten glacial waterfalls thunder through the inside of a mountain. Admission to Trümmelbach Falls is included when the falls are open.
We ride far into the back of the Lauterbrunnen Valley to Berggasthaus Trachsellauenen, a beautiful mountain restaurant tucked away in one of the valley's quietest corners. It is far beyond where most day visitors go and is difficult to reach without a longer walk or a bike. If you would like, we can stop here to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and buy local cheese, drinks or a snack. Food and drinks at the restaurant are not included in the tour price.
The route has gentle inclines and is suitable for beginners. Before we set off, we'll talk about your experience and comfort level so the pace feels right for you.
We meet at Lauterbrunnen train station, where your e-bike and helmet will be ready. Getting here by train is easy: Lauterbrunnen is around 20 minutes from Interlaken Ost, or approximately 40–45 minutes from Grindelwald with a simple change at Zweilütschinen. The tour finishes back at Lauterbrunnen station, and full meeting details are sent to you after booking.
The best way to see the Lauterbrunnen Valley
In around three hours, we'll see the valley's waterfalls and Trümmelbach Falls, then ride far into the back of the valley to Berggasthaus Trachsellauenen.
