Hike & Fly Mürren: The Ultimate Alpine Adventure
Hike to a stunning summit above Mürren, then tandem paraglide back down through the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The ultimate way to experience the Swiss Alps.

Imagine hiking to a breathtaking alpine summit above Mürren — and instead of walking back down, you fly. Tandem paragliding from a mountain peak is one of the most exhilarating experiences you can have in the Swiss Alps, and it all starts with a hike.
What is Hike & Fly?
Hike & Fly combines guided hiking with tandem paragliding. You hike up with a professional tandem pilot as your guide, enjoy a picnic at the summit, and then launch together for a scenic flight back down to the Lauterbrunnen Valley — with the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau right in front of you. No previous paragliding experience is needed for an arranged tandem flight, but fitness and operator eligibility requirements still apply.

Two Routes to Choose From
Easy Hike & Fly — Schiltgrat via Blumental
A beginner-friendly route that takes 2–3 hours total. The hike follows gentle alpine trails through wildflower meadows above Mürren before reaching the launch site at Schiltgrat. Perfect for first-timers and families.
Premium Hike & Fly — Bryndli Peak
For those wanting a bigger adventure, the Bryndli Peak route offers a more challenging hike to 2,134m with incredible panoramic views. The flight route and duration depend on wind, weather and the pilot’s decision. A full half-day experience.

Planning for 2027
For 2027 availability, current prices and inclusions, use the Hike & Fly booking page. Route, take-off point and flight duration depend on conditions and the pilot’s decision. Participants need suitable fitness and must meet the operator’s requirements; a flight is never guaranteed simply because a hike can go ahead.
